EVREUX 18/01/99: It's 10 am and i'm on my way to the first gig
of the tour and my first gig of the year...i'm excited! the venue is part of
a gymnasium with swimming pool, bars, study rooms...The tour crew is here and
the band is at the hotel waiting for an interview. It's now 3pm and the only
thing i have to do is waiting for the soundcheck. At 5, I enter the venue and
manage to hear the band behind the door...I've got a witness feeling. 10pm,
the intro is coming and the band is finally on stage but the audience doesn't
seem to care. The show is great but the boys seems to be disapointed by the
audience. Set list: FAM, Settle down, Stone, Same mistakes, FLS, HTR, Angel,
Who's to know, Ciao my shining star, Landslide, From this height, Building and
solved as encore...Two more songs were on the set list but not played. Nigel
seems in great mood despite his shoulders problems but Andy only one word during
the show: "Thank you" OK that's two word but... Nigel told me he's expected
more from the french audience cause it wasn't really receptive. In fact, I felt
like if i was almost the only one in the mood. Maybe ppl found me a little crazy
but who cares...I love this band and they're great in live. Is there anybody
here who can tell us the contrary? Nevermind I enjoyed it and it was my first
ut gig since august.

EVREUX 18/01/99: nothing to add except that I've met Matt (who sells the t-shirt)
for the first time there. Thanks to the guys for having invited matt during
this tour!
